Biography
Brian Colao is the Director of Dykema’s Dental Service Organizations Industry Group. Brian has been in the dental space for over 25 years. He is widely regarded as one of the foremost authorities in the United States on DSO formation, DSO business structures, DSO related mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance for DSOs including the corporate practice of dentistry, illegal fee splitting, advertising regulations, laboratory regulations, patient finance regulations, billing regulations, HIPAA regulations, credentialing, permit and licensure regulations, marketing regulations, and labor law regulations affecting dental practices.
In recent years Brian has successfully resolved on behalf of his clients several significant civil and criminal Medicaid fraud investigations and state dental board actions alleging the corporate practice of dentistry, fee splitting and related violations, and he is the “go to” person in the industry for all manner of regulatory issues. Brian has handled some of the most significant transactions in the DSO industry. In recent years Brian has handled hundreds of significant dental transactions on behalf of buyers, sellers, minority investors, and lenders. Brian has developed many of the industry-leading protocols and procedures for conducting due diligence prior to purchasing or extending credit to Dental Service Organizations.
Brian currently has clients in all 50 states and six Canadian provinces, and has appeared before all 50 U.S. dental boards and the territory of Puerto Rico. Brian has handled numerous cases of first impression involving the corporate practice of dentistry and fee-splitting nationwide that resulted in legal opinions that defined and established the law in the DSO industry.

Dr. Aman Kaur, Women in DSO executive and dental industry veteran, currently holds multiple board roles, acts as the operating partner with PE groups, and the Chief Executive Officer for a DSO. As a trained dentist with extensive financial and business experience, Dr. Kaur has been intricately involved in the growth and transition of the DSO industry. She has worked with multiple DSOs during her career in various executive roles and is involved with dental vendors, DSOs, not-for-profits and state Dental Associations developing business solutions along with helping emerging dental organizations to execute on their development and growth strategies.
Dr. Bill Simon

Biography
Dr. Bill Simon is a 1983 graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. He is the owner of two practices in Chicago, City Smiles and Sonrisa Urbana. Aside from his often described as “dramatic” career, which included a major office fire, an embezzlement scheme and robbery at gunpoint, Dr. Simon maintains active memberships in the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, the ADA and is a Fellow of the ACD, ICD and PFA. Dr. Simon currently serves on the CDS Midwinter Meeting Affairs Committee. He is a past President of the CDS North Side Branch, sits on the ISDS Board of Trustees, Vice Chair of the Executive Committee and the immediate Past Chair of the ISDS Access to Care Committee. He also serves on the State of Illinois’ Health and family services Medicaid Policy Review Committee. Dr. Simon is passionate about mentoring and speaks nationally to Dental Students and Dentists.

Biography
Dr. Becky Warnken is an actively practicing general dentist and owner of 2 multi-specialty offices in Tampa, Florida. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2013 from Marquette University School of Dentistry. Dr. Becky is the Florida Dental Association Committee on Conventions and Continuing Education General Chair, leading the planning of the Florida Dental Convention and other statewide continuing education opportunities for dentists and their teams. Dr. Becky was presented the Florida Dental Association Leadership Award in 2021. In addition to dentistry, Dr. Becky loves spending time outdoors with her husband and 3 children.

Greg Tice has presented more than 400 programs built around the cognitive principles affecting how we learn, how we grow and how we effectively use goal setting.
For the last 29 years, Greg has been the Director of Education for the Seattle Study Club, a global educational organization focused on providing customized curricula to dentists around the world. He has developed dozens of educational programs, coached hundreds of clinicians on educational implementation, and refocused thousands of participants on real growth and behavior change.
A 1990 graduate from the University of Notre Dame, Greg is married with three boys including twins.

Jill Kingen has been a change-maker in the event industry for over 15 years. First with Freeman, working with a variety of meeting clients in industries including dental, medical and science. And for the past nine years, she has focused her expertise on taking the Rocky Mountain Dental Convention (RMDC) to new heights. At RMDC, she focuses on innovation, strategic partnerships and business development. She has a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University and a master’s from the University of Phoenix.

Biography
Dr Boseman started practicing general dentistry in Salt Lake City in 1981. He currently is an Associate Professor at the University of Utah School of Dentistry where he is Section Head of Oral Radiology and Director of Continuing Education. He directs the Utah Dental Association annual convention as the meeting’s Convention Coordinator. He is the current chair of the Conference on Dental Meetings (CDM), an organization representing most U.S. and Canadian dental meetings. He is proud of his 4 grown children and 17 grandchildren. He loves to travel and fly his airplane when given the time.
